Update on the NWDC Occupation

The day I went down to Tacoma and ended up helping the Northwest Detention Center occupiers voluntarily leave the area, I expressed disappointment that they were letting themselves be evicted. Turns out the decision to leave had to do with complaints made by the Puyallup tribe. I don't know the exact details, but occupiers have set up once again, this time under the leadership and guidance of the local tribe. Which is fantastic.

I apologize for being presumptuous before. This is the right way to do things. I'm hoping I can make it down on many other Thursdays, because that's the only day I have access to a car all day without having to go somewhere for work.

If only I could be there every day without having to worry about losing my apartment and my job. It's almost like somebody set it up to make it difficult to protest.
