How Are Pro-Lifers Being Pro-Life Today?

Oh boy, nothing gets my hypocrisy rage going like pro-lifers do! Apparently, the Republican-controlled congress just passed a fetal pain bill that makes abortions after 20 weeks illegal in all 50 states. This is based on junk science funded by pro-lifers that claim fetuses can feel pain at 20 weeks. There's also evidence to suggest that plants feel pain, but nobody's calling for us all to starve ourselves out of existence because we can't kill anything that feels pain no matter what lol.

This snuck by me and I'm suspecting most feminists because we're too busy losing our minds over Trump being terrible about Puerto Rico and white men with histories of domestic violence once again committing mass murder. Now Donald Trump is going to sign it into law. I'm hoping it can be challenged in court but I'm not sure it can be considering the fact that multiple states already have these laws. I don't remember if the Supreme Court has heard a case around fetal pain bills and I'm afraid to look.

Of course, this will mostly only affect poor women who have to try and save up money for an abortion, and in many states now, travel costs and perhaps lodgings near the one abortion clinic while they're forced to wait 24 hours between the intake exam and the procedure. This can take more than five months when you're poor. Not that they give a fuck.

Here's where the major hypocrisy comes in. First, a few days ago, Congress did nothing while CHIP expired, leaving 9 million poor kids without health insurance.

Anti-Abortion Congressman Asked Woman to Have One, Report Says

Mr. Murphy, 65, who is married with an adult daughter, confirmed last month that he “became involved in an affair with a personal friend,” according to a statement previously provided to The Post-Gazette.
The woman involved in the extramarital affair, Shannon Edwards, told the newspaper last month that her relationship with Mr. Murphy had ended. She said she had gotten to know Mr. Murphy, a Republican, when she volunteered to work on a mental health bill, which was signed into law late last year.
In a text message sent to Mr. Murphy on Jan. 25, Ms. Edwards assailed the congressman for hypocrisy. The exchange was included among several documents obtained by The Post-Gazette.
“And you have zero issue posting your anti-abortion stance all over the place when you had no issue asking me to abort our unborn child just last week when we thought that was one of the options,” Ms. Edwards wrote, according to The Post-Gazette. The newspaper said that the text was sent amid what proved to be an “unfounded pregnancy scare.”

Representative Tim Murphy then blamed his anti-abortion work on his "staff," in what I am 100% sure was a bald-faced lie. Fuck you, Tim.

That's a real pro-life representative, though. Lets born children die. Uses an anti-abortion stance to gain points with constituents but has no problem asking women he cheated with to have abortions when he knocks them up. Pro-life is a scam to rile up the Christian right and get them to vote more Republicans in based on non-scientific hypocrisy. Meanwhile actually children ARE DYING RIGHT NOW FUCK YOU TIM.
