Reddit’s Hypermisogynist ‘Red Pill’ Forum Was Started by a New Hampshire State Legislator
Just when I think reality can't get any fucking weirder.
I don't even know what the fuck
Like are you
Here's the thing. I know all about this "Red Pill" shit. They are some of the worst of the MRAs. Like MRAs but they think the idea that feminism is really just about being super mean to men is some kind of Matrix-level revelation. Literally. That's what the "red pill" is in reference to. If you didn't already know that, I'm sorry I put that bit of information into your brain. And you know how I feel about unnecessary apologizing.
Thanks to the Daily Beast’s detective work, it appears that the founder of the Red Pill is New Hampshire Republican lawmaker Robert Fisher, who unwittingly left a number of pseudonymous online identities tied together — he was undone in part by promoting his band, of which he is the sole member, on multiple accounts. When contacted by the Daily Beast about his connections, Fisher denied involvement and claimed to not know what a pickup artist is. Shortly afterward, all of the accounts examined by the reporters vanished.
Yeah, they never were very good at lying.
I mean, Lord Dampnut became president with a Breitbart editor as one of his key advisers so why am I all that surprised? I guess I had kind of forgotten about these Reddit nerds in all the white-supremacists-taking-over-the-government and possible nuclear war stuff. And I guess I always pictured the creator of the Red Pill Reddit as, well, you know. Not a high level political representative. I mean, a Matrix reference? That is so embarrassing.
I think legally this should be grounds for immediate impeachment but there is no justice in this world.
