How Are Pro-Lifers Being Pro-Life Today?

Oh, just death threats. You know, the usual for the so-called "pro-life" crowd. Nothing says pro-life like threatening to murder someone. You're performing a medical procedure that routinely saves lives, both in the literal sense and in the sense that an unwanted child can destroy any and all potential the pregnant person had? I'm going to murder you, because I'm "pro-life"!

Anyway, death threats to abortion providers increased by 46% in the 30 days following the election, and there's also been a serious surge in asshole protesters armed with lies and bloody photos of miscarriages and stillbirths.

Since the election, aggressive protesters have been flocking to the clinic, which provides abortions as well as gynecology, prenatal services and STD testing. On Saturdays dozens of protesters spread out half a block in either direction of the doorway, holding signs, screaming at women entering the clinic and impeding on the 15-foot buffer they are legally required to adhere to beyond the clinic doors.
"Their behavior has become incredibly more aggressive to the point we've had to call the police the last three to four weeks," said Camille Barbone, vice president of operations at the clinic. "There's much more condemnation than I've ever seen before. They're pushing cellphone cameras into patients' faces."

But it's all good, right? No real consequences to the election of Donald Trump. Words don't cause harm and electing a hateful shit stain doesn't embolden other hateful shit stains to spew hate at innocent people.

This is also great (all of this is sarcasm btw):

Other abortion providers across the country have seen even more aggressive tactics since election night. A clinic in Kentucky had to replace its windows after a protester threw rocks through them, and a clinic in North Carolina saw 2,500 protesters on one day — more than double the number it's accustomed to — holding Trump/Pence signs saying, "We won, you lost."

Amazing. This is what this election is to Trump supporters. It's a game. All they care about is "winning," nevermind the fact that people's lives are now increasingly at risk due to the spike in hate crimes and incoming registries, mass deportations, and fucking Nazis.

It's callous on a level that I cannot even begin to grasp. Yet they call themselves "pro-life."

They're pro-neo-conservative ideology. That's it.
