"Three Strikes" Laws Ruled Super Unconstitutional

Do you have any idea how important this is? In an 8-1 vote, the SCOTUS ruled that high mandatory minimums for nonviolent offenders is unconstitutional because "there is nothing in place that would ensure this law would be carried out fairly or in an undiscriminatory manner."

Yeah, no kidding.

This is gonna piss of all the people benefiting from the prison industrial complex. How are they gonna keep all those cells filled to the brim if you can't send people caught possessing marijuana three times to prison for 30 years? Which is over three times the length of the average sentence for a convicted rapist, and five to fifteen times the length of a sentence for a guy who murdered his wife!
