Amazing Women of Color

Two nights ago, Keke Palmer played Cinderella in the Broadway play. She was the first black woman to do so.

Yes, it took THIS LONG.

And if you say anything about "historical accuracy" I'm just going to throw a list of movies, TV shows and plays in which white people have been cast as characters who should have been people of color while not one white person complained about it into your face.

Anyway, the photos from after the show when the cast is bowing and all that are super touching.

I hope so many black girls get to see her perform. So many before them thought that they couldn't ever be a princess. Thank god for Keke Palmer.
